About the Piece
Rectangular glass tray measuring 10.5" tall and 8" wide with a drawn image of a single yellow Iris flower in full bloom on green stems, shown against a whiteish background. Dish is backed in black felt and hand-signed by the artist. Do not immerse in water, wipe clean when dirty. Free plate hanger available, leave a request in the note section during checkout.
This image is one of the color lithographs found in the five volume set called "Wildflowers", illustrated by Anne Pratt and published in London between 1855-1866. Pratt has been recognized as an important figure for spreading knowledge and the love of botany at her time.
