This New York based artist has been designing and assembling decoupage home accessories from vintage ephemera since 1989. In fact, his unique fusion of eglomise (reverse painted class) and decoupage (paper cutout decoration of objects) has helped popularize neo-Victorian style in home accessories and resulted in his international notoriety and acclaim, placing his designs in magazines across the country. From letter trays to paperweights and multi piece wall hangings, the collection of John's work represented at Gold Bug changes often. Although the accessories can be put to use, they are not water submergible and must be wiped clean. When appropriate, we provide wall hanging hardware with every purchase.
