Jamie Joseph Asymmetrical Rose Quartz Ring

Quartz is a silicon dioxide crystal with a harness of 7 that can be found everywhere in the world. Clear Quartz is sometimes called "Rock Crystal" and is the stone most often thought of when the term "Quartz" is used. This "pure" quartz is colorless and transparent or translucent, and has been a favorite since antiquity for the making of jewelry and hardstone carvings. Depending upon the environment in which they form, though, quartz crystals come in an array of different colors which include citrine, rose quartz, amethyst, smokey quartz, milky quartz, minty quartz and many others. Rose Quartz is found in Brazil and Madagascar, as well as South Dakota and is said to be the quintessential stone of love. It helps dissolve one's boundaries of isolation and mistrust and moves one into the sense of union with the essence at the fore of the heart.

This one-of-a-kind Rose Quartz ring was hand crafted in Jamie's Seattle studio from a beautiful, hand selected stone which was surface-cut and bezel set in 14k gold on a sterling silver Rough Hewn band with a .03 Pt Diamond. Currently fits a size 7 finger, but, can be resized by the designer for a fee of $50.
