Make Music Pasadena

Tuesday, June 14, 2011

Make Music Pasadena is Southern California's LARGEST FREE musical celebration and is held throughout the streets of Pasadena on World Music Day, Saturday, June 18, 2011.

On that day, sidewalks, parks, courtyards, alleys, building lobbies and other unconventional performance spaces will become spontaneous musical stages and social gathering places. Amateur musicians will bring their musical talents to the streets of Pasadena and perform to new crowds.

Internationally known artists will perform at two main stages – One Colorado and Levitt Pavilion. What better way to jump start the summer than by dancing in the streets, throughout the day, to these wonderful music performances.

All performances are free and open to the public!

Melissa Joy Manning featured in June Issue of Lucky Magazine

Thursday, June 02, 2011

We were excited to see the work of jewelry designer
Melissa Joy Manning in this months issue of Lucky magazine. We absolutely love her one-of-a-kind pieces and elegant aesthetic.
Here at Gold Bug we are currently featuring a collection of Melissa's that was a collaborative project between she and New York clothing designer/friend Doo. Ri which debuted at Doo. Ri's spring 2011 fashion show. The collection is inspired by nature, mimicking the designs of fallen spider webs and constructed from recycled silver.
Available on our website along with our complete collection of Melissa's work
